Descimco is an entrepreneur working in the industrial sector of mechanics and piping. We are currently looking for a project manager in civil or industrial mechanical engineering for our sites in the Montreal and Montérégie regions. Under the supervision of the Director of Construction , the project manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of each of the stages of the projects by coordinating all the phases of their realization.


  • Planning and monitoring of  the working operations;
  • Prepare timelines;
  • Participate in the planning, scheduling and execution of daily construction tasks;
  • Ensure the follow-up of supplies;
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers;
  • Participate in security visits and meetings;
    Manage change requests and contractual requirements;
  • Ensure that the financial requirements of the project are met and that the coding procedure is followed;
  • Coordinate quality assurance;
  • Establish working methods and coordinate them between the various project stakeholders.


  • Bachelor’s degree or DEC in mechanical engineering, civil engineering or equivalent;
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in multidisciplinary construction project management;
  • Permit from the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (an asset);
  • Strong knowledge of computer softwares (mainly in MS Project and Autocad);
  • A very good knowledge of plans and estimations;
  • Health and safety training on a construction site (ASP).
